What we process and why

• Hosting. The site is delivered by Cloudflare. Technical connection data such as IP address, time and browser details are processed to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Settings in your browser. Your chosen size, "shopping for" and sort order are stored only in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to us and you can clear them in your browser settings at any time.
• Email. If you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

When you go to a retailer

"Go to shop" sends you to the retailer through an affiliate network link. The retailer and network use their own cookies or similar technology to credit the sale to FairSole; they are responsible for that and their own privacy notices apply. Your order details never reach us – we only see aggregated commission reports.

International transfers

Cloudflare may process data on servers outside the UK. Such transfers rely on the safeguards UK data protection law provides, such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep data

We don't keep personal data ourselves. Emails are deleted once the matter is closed. The host's technical logs follow its own retention periods.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Email info@fairsole.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
