How we make money

The "Go to shop" links on FairSole are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer may pay us a small commission. The price you pay is the same.

Commission does not decide the ranking

Deals are ordered only by our deal score: the real discount against the 30-day average, the price gap to other retailers, how few sizes are left, and the season. Commission rates play no part. When the same shoe is sold by several retailers, we show the cheapest first and the others underneath.

How we measure discounts

Under UK pricing guidance, a "was" price should be one the product was genuinely sold at for a meaningful period. We check it ourselves: we store every product's price daily and compare today's price with the 30-day average. If the discount a retailer advertises is much bigger than the one we measure, we label the deal "Inflated discount".

Which retailers do we work with?

Retailers connected through affiliate networks or direct partnerships. We only list brands whose quality we know, and only sizes that are in stock.
